Reading email for cash is fast becoming the best way to make money from the internet. With advertizing dollars getting smaller, companies are trying to get "good clicks" for their money. If they send you an email, they know you've viewed their ad so their money is better spent. When you sign up for a program, make sure you use an alternate email account that you've created just for this purpose. Try Hotmail, Yahoo!, or something similar. During the sign up process they will ask you your interests. Choose as many as possible! The more you choose, the more email you'll get. That's what you want. These programs will pay anywhere from .02 cents to $10.00 per email, but they average about .05 cents. Most require you to click on a link to view the advertizers page for credit. As with all these programs, refer as many of your friends as you can. You'll make a small percentage of their click throughs as well.
PRIVACY

Obviously, for you to receive a check, you have to give the company your real name and home address, as well as some other general information such as your Email address. If you're not comfortable with giving them your home address, try setting up a P.O. box. If you don't want to give out your Email address, set up another Email account at a free provider such as Yahoo! I do this for anything I sign up for on the net. It helps keep unwanted Emails to a minimum. The majority of these companies DO NOT share your personal information with third parties. I have not recieved any solicitations yet. As always, thoroughly read any agreements before you sign up for anything. Especially privacy agreements, and security statements. Now, having done that, let's go make some money!

GENERAL

Using "cash bars" while surfing the Internet, and "email for cash"  in your email, are easy ways to make extra money. If you do alot of surfing, and you don't mind a banner ad running while you do it (believe me, you get used to it), it is definitely something to try out. Most require you to be actively surfing to accumulate money. They pay you by sharing the advertising dollars they generate from the companies you see in the ads. You do not have to click on any of them or purchase anything. Just let the bar run. It's as easy as that. If you play games on-line then a cash bar is a must. You make money while playing games. Try out www.iwin.com, or www.Gamesville.com if your looking for some games to try.

RATES

Most bars offer a set pay rate per hour of "active" surfing. Generaly .10 to .60 cents per hour (most track by the minute). Some claim they will be up to $1.50 an hour at some point. Others use a point system that translates into a dollar amount. Most have a limit on how many hours of surfing you can accrue per month. Some are as little as 20 hours per month, but some are unlimited! They send you your check after you have reached a certain amount of cash, generally $20.00. If you have not reached that amount for any particular month, it just carries over to the next month. There are a few that pay quarterly. Also, most  programs offer advanced memberships that allow heavy surfers to make even MORE money!

REFERRALS

Referrals are the key to making the most "surfing dollars". Once you have signed up, you get an ID for your account. This is also used when you make referrals. When you want to tell a friend about your new way of making extra cash, give him or her your referral number, and ask them to use it when the sign up. When they do, you will now get extra dollars when they surf. It doesn't take away from how much they make. They get the same rate you do. It just adds to your amount. When they refer someone else, they add to their money, and you add even more to yours. Granted these additional accruals are small, but they do add up. One thing to keep in mind for most programs is, if your friend surfs for 10 hours and you surf for just 5, you only get credited for 5 of their hours. I have included my ID with most links to get you started. Thank you for using them.
THE "CASH BAR"

These are the banner ad programs that you must have running to be earning money. All cash bars are NOT alike. Most are about eight or ten inches long by one inch tall, but they come in all sizes. Others are more unique, like Ignifuge and RadioFreeCash. Some require you to log in to be active, but most you just turn on when you begin surfing. If you are inactive for a given amount of time, they will stop earning until you are active. It is obvious when they are inactive. Generally you can move them around on your screen to wherever is most convenient, but minimizing will stop accrual. There are some that are not developed very well yet. For instance some can't be moved around freely, and Spedia leaves an icon on your desktop every time you exit. Others provide extra features such as partner programs, search features, or donating to charity. The latest craze has the bars earning you entries into daily cash give aways. A few don't require you to be surfing at all! You just need to be connected to the internet (cable, DSL). You can be reading your Email, creating a Word document, etc. These usually ask you to click a button every so often to make sure your not in the shower or down at the local bar and not "potentially" viewing their ads.
